Folks workin'.

Tea, sweet and strong.

The Syrian Chips.

The Aleppo spice souq. Not my picture, hadn't bought new camera yet. But this is a good one.

Folks walkin', wonderin what whitey taking picture of them and the street for.

The city park, a nice refuge from the hectic street.

Where there's no shortage of taxis. It gets a little tiring having to negotiate crazy drivers every intersection just to cross the street.

Night cafe.

The Kemal Kabbani concert I saw. For videos, check the other blog.

The train I took to Latakkia.

Kabob cart near my hotel.

Fruit stands. They bring the juice.

Falafel stand. In Syria I started to be able to eat no meat again. There's falafel, hummus and fuul(breakfast with fava beans) everywhere.

And they rock the desserts here too.

2 wheelin.

The impressive citadel looming over the town.

The alluring souq, with smells and sights of every kind.

Syriaous?
